***PLEASE NOTE:  During this time, you may reach out to us through Schoology Message or Email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.  However, please be advised that our work hours are 9:00 am until 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Messages will be checked during these hours, but may or may not be checked after hours or weekends.  School buildings are closed so phone messages or faxes are not accessible at this time. 

 

 

School Counselors wear many hats and play an important role in a student's educational success.  They are advocates for students and parents and help enrich a student's school experience through academic, career and social/emotional supports.  To enhance your child's school experience, please contact your child's school counselor!

 


Transcript Requests

 

Graduates PRIOR to the Class of 2018 must request their transcript by contacting the school at 304-432-8208 phone or 304-432-8189 fax.  A state issued photo ID is required for all requests and requests must be made by the graduate.  PLEASE NOTE:  Requests may take up to 7 days to process!

 

Graduates of the Class of 2018 and AFTER must request their transcript through Parchment.  Parchment transcript requests will be processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays (except during holidays or when school is not in session).  PLEASE NOTE:  During summer months, Parchment transcript requests will be processed approximately every 3 weeks.

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is a free application to apply for free federal grants and low interest loans for college.

WV Invests is a new program designed to provide tuition to community colleges for FREE in most degree programs!  Check to see if your  career is listed!

Monongalia County Financial Aid Handbook provides information on financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

College Entrance Exams - You have 2 college entrance exam choices.  Click on the one you wish to register for:      ACT        SAT

CFWV.com is a website designed to assist WV students with career preparation, financial aid planning and applying for college.

MTEC (Monongalia County Technical Education Center) offers students the opportunity to learn a trade while in high school.  Check out their website for a list of their programs!

NCAA Clearinghouse is where student athletes register to with the NCAA to play a college sport.  Check out the website for Division Level academic requirements!

O*NET is the premier website that provides the most up-to-date national information and data on careers and occupations throughout the United States and is sponsored by the US Department of Labor.  It provides excellent career search opportunities!
