Flu Shot Info from WVU medicine:

We are pleased to announce that we will be offering drive-through flu shots for Mon and Preston County residents by appointment only at our University Towne Center Clinic beginning September 21 and ending November 14. The drive-through is open 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday and Saturday. Drive-through flu shots are not available on Sundays. To make your appointment for this service, please call 855-WVU-CARE (855-988-2273). If you are already scheduled to see your primary care physician for a routine visit, you can still get your flu shot then. Remember, we encourage everyone to get vaccinated for the flu, especially this year. Thank you!

February is Mental Health Month!!!

 

FEBRUARY IS DENTAL HEALTH MONTH!!!

 

Free dental care for children:

WVU SCHOOL OF DENTISTY:  Children ages one to 17 can receive free exams, any necessary X-rays and fluoride treatments on Friday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in Morgantown at the West Virginia University Pediatric Dentistry Clinic as part of WVU Dental Care’s  National Children’s Dental Health Month celebrations.

 

The exams provide more than $100 worth of services for children. Appointments are required, and space is limited. To schedule an appointment for the free exam, call 304-293-0401. Patients can begin requesting appointments on Friday, Jan. 18.

 

 

MCHD Dentistry will “Give Kids a Smile” as part of free dental care event: On Friday, Feb. 7, children without dental insurance will have something to smile about.

 

Appointments can be made for children up to the age of 18 who do not have dental insurance. During a 30- to 40-minute appointment, children will receive a dental checkup, a cleaning and a fluoride treatment with a dental hygienist, and will be seen by Dr. Carrier.
