What is Mountie Time?

Mountie Time is an after school program offered four days a week, Monday through Thursday from 2:30-4:00 pm.  Mountie Time is designed to offer homework help, enrichment activities, and fun learning experiences.

Transportation is not provided. Students will need picked from the program by an authorized person at 4 pm. Students participating in sports after school may also take part in Mountie Time prior to coaches arriving for practice. Athletes must sign up for classes in advance and remain their chosen or assigned class until dismissed for practice.

The classes offered each week will be posted on Sunday evening prior to the start of the school week. Students are asked to sign up for the class they want in advance to avoid overcrowding and assure their spot in the classes for the week. Courses are on a first come, first serve basis. Students will be guaranteed a place in the class in the order they are signed up. Once a class is too full, students will be shifted to another class that has availability. Class size is determined by the teacher based on the number of students that may be accommodated safely for the activity.

Daily Attendance

On the days students stay afterschool either when in the cafeteria for snack or when they go to their class, they need to complete the daily attendance by clicking on the name of the class for the day they are attending.

Rules & Expectations - Basically, the same rules apply in after school that do during the school day at Mountaineer Middle, use the button above to read the full rules and expectations.

One-Time Registration - The button above includes a one-time registration that we ask caregivers to complete before students attend Mountie Time. Completing the Google Form Registration allows us to know the caregivers are aware of their student participating in the program as well as provides important information that teachers would need to know in order to properly supervise students.
