Attention parents and students: Mountaineer Middle is pleased to be able to continue Mountie Time, our after-school program, which offers tutoring, homework help, and some enrichment activities from 2:30 to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday. Welcome back! Student arrival begins at 7:00 a.m. Car riders should enter through the center stairwell of the school, while bus riders should enter through the main entrance by the office. Car riders will exit the main stairwell at the center of the school at the end of the day.
School dismissal is at 2:30 p.m. If your student rides the bus, please make sure they check the bus number before getting on. It can also be helpful to have the bus number written down for them.

Thank you for your dedication to education! Your drive along with the drive of our staff has produced outstanding WVGSA test scores.
You may access their student's West Virginia General Summative Assessment results by going to the Cambium portal link on our school website under parents and WVGSA results portal. Students should have received directions and additional information in their boe email (also known as their Gmail account), which is accessible on their Chromebooks, during the week of September 9th-13th.

Cheerleading Clinic will be August 12th. JV Football Clinic will be from 9-10:30 am. Varsity Football & Competition Clinic will be from 1 - 4 pm.
Cheerleader Tryouts will be August 13th. JV Football Tryouts will be form 9-10 am. Varsity Tryouts will be from noon to 3 pm.
Volleyball Tryouts will be August 12-14th. JV Tryouts will be from 3:30 to 4:45 pm, and Varsity will be from 4:45 - 6 pm at MMS gym.
6th & 7th graders should tryout for JV unless asked to tryout for varsity. All 8th graders should tryout for varsity.
Open House will held on August 19th from 5-7 pm. Open house for 6th grade will be held from 5-6 pm followed by 7th & 8th grade from 6-7 pm.
