Dance Reminder for Parents
Our school dance will be held from 7:00–8:30 PM.
Please do not drop students off early and leave them unattended. Students should arrive no earlier than the scheduled start time of 7:00 PM.
Pick-up will begin promptly at 8:30 PM. Our first dance is usually very timely with the pick-up process, so we ask that parents arrive at 8:30 and remain patient as students are dismissed.
Thank you for helping us make the evening safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Honoring Those Who Served
Mountaineer Middle School will host our Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 10, from 12:30–2:00 PM. We are honored to recognize the veterans and active-duty service members who are part of our Mountaineer families and invite them to join us as our honored guests.
If you have a family member or friend who has served or is currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, we would be honored to have them attend our assembly. Please complete the RSVP form below so we can plan appropriately for our honored guests. Due to space limitations, attendance is limited to our honored veterans and active-duty service members.

We are also creating a special slideshow featuring photos of our students’ veteran and active-duty friends and family members. The slideshow will be displayed as students enter the gym for the assembly.

Midterms Came Home Today!
Please take a moment to review your child’s midterm and celebrate their progress! If there are areas that need additional support, remember that we can use Mountie Time as needed for extra practice and support.
We will also use REAL Time (intervention time) to address specific skills or areas of need. Our goal is to make sure every student gets the support they need to continue growing and succeeding! 💙

Parents, tomorrow, Monday, September 21, we will be celebrating our WVU baseball players with a special Blue & Gold Spirit Day! Our students will have the exciting opportunity to meet and hear from four WVU baseball players:

They will be visiting with our students and sharing about their experiences as student-athletes.
